After graduating Davidson College in 2002, I joined Fidelity Investments as a Research Analyst covering the automotive industry. I learned how to pick stocks from some of the best mutual fund managers in the world.
After almost 4 years, I wanted to get exposure to private equity, so I joined Fidelity's LBO group, Fidelity Equity Partners(FEP). At FEP, I honed my financial modeling skills, became skilled at analyzing and managing complex capital structures, and enhanced my business sense by working closely with our portfolio companies.
In 2009, with an eye towards starting my own company someday, I matriculated at Duke's Fuqua School of Business. The goal was to enhance my managerial, marketing, and strategic skill set. During the summer after my 1st year at Duke, I interned at Putnam Investments in the High Yield group in order to learn the art of debt investing. This experience gave me a robust understanding of how to analyze a company's entire capital structure.
After graduating from Fuqua, I began pursuing my entrepreneurial passion and ultimately founded Investors Mosaic, LLC.

Family consists of my wife, Emily, and two sons, Sawyer and Henry.
